Astro City: Life in the Big City - Collects vol. 1 #1-6. "The city’s leading super hero tries to be everywhere at once, and berates himself for every wasted second as he longs for just a moment of his own. A small-time hood learns a hero’s secret identity and tries to figure out how to profit from the knowledge. Astro City is the seat of Hood County in an unspecified state. Though there is an actual Hood County in Texas, the name was chosen by Busiek because it "is another play on secret IDs; Mask County or Cowl County wouldn't have sounded right." T The city was originally called Romeyn Falls (until its rebuilding, post-World War II).

The original Astro City cabinet was a staple in Japanese arcades throughout the 90s and has been influential in terms of the stick and six button layout in the years since. Like the Neo Geo Mini, Astro City has been published since 1995.
